My Employer, Rubs, My Nuts, All For Charity!

(If I could provide a subtitle, it might be "The Importance of Punctuation".)

Every year, my main client/employer kicks off a huge fund-raising campaign for the United Way. It is a huge effort with all kinds of activities in all buildings, all over the place. My building is, among other things, hosting a Bake Sale tomorrow, and the organizers asked Paul and I if we wanted to provide anything for them to sell. Being the attention-loving fools we are, of course we said "yes!".

So, we decided that we were going to donate 40 bottles of our favourite 3 rubs, and some BBQ Peanuts. We knew the rubs, one for each basic BBQ food group: Chicken, Pork and Beef. We knew that people love my hot nuts, so that wasn't a problem. After a couple of nights on Photoshop, we slapped together some reasonable facsimiles of labels, making sure they were bilingual (this is Canada, eh!).

The names of the rubs were donated are:

Sleeping Chipotle ("Warm and Smoky Chicken Rub")
Weekend in Vegas ("A Beef Rub That's No Gamble")
Pigtastic ("Mouth-Watering Pork Rub")

Here are some pictures of the finished product. We hope they all sell out and raise some money for the United Way! For the "Silent Auction", we offered to cater a Halloween BBQ dinner for two, in our Chippendale's costumes, but they didn't think that was "appropriate". Pfft.
