The week after Smoked to the Bone, we took off for our first road trip with the new trailer. Traeger Canada asked if would like to participate in a Parking Lot competition at Picsines Club Pro in Dorval, and of course we said "Yes"!
It was a rainy cold day, and we squared off against a couple other teams, both from Montreal. Traeger and the host served up snacks all day while we focused on the chicken and ribs.
We used our winning chicken recipe and our standard rib recipe. While the chicken was beautiful, the ribs were a little tougher than we wanted. We thought it would be a close one, but we ended up sweeping the event! Chicken would prove to be a hot one for us this season...our Grand Prize was a Traeger Junior!
