Ingredients

1⁄2 cup
Brown sugar
1⁄2 cup
barbecue seasoning mix (available at the Bulk Barn)
1⁄4 cup
sea salt
1 tablespoon
dry mustard
1 tablespoon
Tony Chachere's extra spicy cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Smoked Paprika
1 teaspoon
cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon
chipotle powder

Instructions

1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl using a metal whisk.
2. Once all ingredients are thoroughly mixed transfer to airtight container and store in a cool dark place

Notes

* I named it Barbecue Candy due to the sweet nature of the rub, as well as how the flavor is reminiscent of barbecue potato chip flavoring. Goes VERY well with chicken, chicken wings, or boneless skinless breasts. Avoid pairing it up with an overly sweet sauce.
* Makes about 1 1/2 cups of rub
