Ingredients

leaves of cabbage 1 pound
lean ground beef 1⁄3 cup
rice 2⁄3 cup
water 1 cup
tomato juice 16 ounce
tomato sauce 1 tablespoon
Brown sugar 1 tablespoon
lemon juice 1 teaspoon
worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon
Salt 1⁄2 teaspoon
Pepper 1⁄2
onion, chopped 1
egg (beaten)Instructions
Bring water to a boil, add rice. Reduce to simmer, stir often. Remove from heat when ready
Mix ground beef, onion, juice, egg, S&P and rice in a bowl. Separate into 8 portions.
Roll beef filling into a cabbage leaf, and place seam-side down in a pan
In a bowl, mix sauce, lemon, worcestershire and sugar
Pour mixture over top of the rolls
Bake at 350 till done, ~45 minutes.
Notes
To soften the cabbage, boil the head for about 5 minutes. Leaves will come off easier and be easier to work with. Otherwise, par boil the leaves alone, to soften for rolling

They were pretty good, but I would halve the onion, chop it more finely, and increase the rice by almost 100%. Also, it needs some seasoning in the meat...also, the brown sugar/lemon/Worcestershire made a thin BBQ sauce that just didn't belong. I have not edited the recipe to reflect these observations.
My mom use to make them but with out rice ( I can not bring my self to eat rice, let's just say the look of it reminds me of something that I can not handle. I have not had cabbage rolls in such a long time!
