Greek rub


A very tasty mixture given to me by Zeus himself.

4 tsp sea salt
4 tsp garlic powder
4 tsp dried basil
4 tsp oregano
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp dried parsley
2 tsp dried rosemary, minced
2 tsp dried dill weed
2 tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp cornstarch


Use a mortar and pestle to break down the rosemary, or chop it with a knife being careful as the bits will fly.

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and store in a mason jar or other airtight container.

Shake container well before each use.


Great for chicken, lamb, pork, even steak! Use in any recipe that calls for a greek seasoning blend.
