Parmesan Chicken

4 chicken breasts
1 cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 cup parmesan (freshly grated)
1/2 cup mozzarella (grated)
1 dash olive oil


Slice chicken breasts thickness in half. Most recipies say to pound the chicken to 1/4 or 1/2 inch thickness. I like to slice mine lengthwise.
Mix bread crumbs, garlic powder, pepper and 1/2 cup of parmasen cheeze together.
Preheat oven to 375.
Coat chicken breasts with bread crumb mixture – You can either dip them in eggs before coating or coat directly. It depends how much breading you like on your chicken. I don’t use eggs.
Heat skillet to medium to high heat and add enough olive oil to cover skillet.
Add breaded chicken to oil. Cook a few minutes each side until golden brown.
Remove chicken breasts and place on cooking sheet that will be placed in the oven.
Add remaining parmesan cheeze to chicken breasts, add mozzarella on top of parmesan cheese.
Place in Pre heated oven 375 until cheese is melted and top is started to turn golden.
Remove from oven and add your favourite spaghetti sauce on top.
Serve immediately with a side of spaghetti or your favourite pasta.
