Turkey Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon fresh or dried sage (rubbed)
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Dried Savory
  • 2 tablespoon fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  2. Rinse turkey and pat dry
  3. Melt enough butter to coat the bird
  4. Apply the herb mixture evenly, all over the bird
  5. Roast as usual

Notes

  • I double this up and add some herbs under the skin as well.
  • Goes well with our Turkey Brine and Turkey Stuffing recipes.
