3 1/2cupsmilk1% milk used
1 1/2tspvanilla extract
1cupvegetable oil
4cupsall-purpose flour
2tbspsugar
8tspbaking powder
1/2tspsalt
Method
Beat the eggs with a mixer until creamy.
Add the milk, vanilla and vegetable oil to the eggs and combine.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing slowly until smooth and well combined.
Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer directions. Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until the waffles are golden and crisp on the outside.
Remove waffles and serve warm, or cool and freeze leftovers for reheating later.
I have a Cuisinart “Breakfast Central” Waffle Maker and it spat these little beauties out in no time! Nice big, crunchy on the outside, fluffy and light on the inside. This recipe fed 6 kids and 2 adults and still had plenty for the freezer.
