3 Cups of thinly sliced peeled cucumbers
1 Cup thinly sliced red onion
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1 TBSP White Vinegar
1 TBSP Minced Fresh Dill
1 TSP White Sugar
1/2 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP Black Pepper
1/4 TSP Granulated Garlic
- In a medium mixing bowl stir together sour cream, vinegar, dill, sugar, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Add cucumbers and red onion; toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate 2 or more hours.
- We had this last year along with a giant plate of Schnitzel at a local restaurant. It provided such a lovely balance that I had to find a recipe. This one came from Lemon Tree Dwelling and I really only added pepper to this awesome recipe.
