Ingredients
- 2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried crushed rosemary
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Combine the olive oil, dried basil, dried parsley, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried oregano, black pepper, crushed rosemary, salt, lemon juice, and grated Parmesan in a bowl.
- Whisk or stir thoroughly until the herbs and cheese are evenly distributed and the garlic is incorporated.
- Cover and let the mixture infuse for up to 12 hours at room temperature to deepen the flavors, or store immediately in a cool, dry place.
- Transfer to a sealed bottle (a recycled wine bottle works well) and store in a cool, dry place.
- To serve, pour the oil onto a shallow plate (optionally add a splash of balsamic) and dredge your bread of choice through it.

Notes
