Spicy Beef Rub

?4 cup Paprika (dark)
1/4 cup Chili powder (mild or medium)
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon cayenne powder
1 tablespoon Garlic powder
1 tablespoon sea salt (or kosher)


1. Add all ingredients in a large bowl using a whisk to mix thoroughly.
2. Apply roughly two Tablespoons to each large rack of beef ribs and smoke.

    I used “hot” chili powder
    I used “hot” chili powder just because it’s what I had on hand. I also swapped Chipotle powder for cayenne and halved it, too. Ribs are on the smoker now so I’ll add an update later with the results!
