Lone Star Salsa
1 can Whole or diced plum tomato (Discard half the juice)
1 onion (Sweet)
1 jalapeno pepper (Cleaned and diced)
1/4 cup Cilantro (fresh and chopped)
1 garlic salt (To taste)
- Mix it.
- used a food processor to blend it a bit, but still left chunks.
- Let it sit for a good 30 minutes before serving.
- Whole tomatoes in the can will taste better as they are only cooked once during processing, while diced or crushed tomatoes are cooked twice.
- Knock off of the Ottawa-based chain’s salsa.
